#Planeplotter sharer locations software#
Please stop the other instance of PlanePlotter and also tell us whether you have some third-party software running that might be interfering with the normal data flow. The fact that it does sometimes deliver the correct data indicates that the settings are correct but there is something strange going on. Raw data is being loaded into the raw data buffer but the response to requests for raw data are not always processed correctly. Your system is definitely contributing regular data to the sharing system but it does not always respond correctly to requests for raw data for Mlats. It is hard to test the system as you seem to be running two instances of PlanePlotter at the same time. On the share status test it indicates only that raw data is enabled and approved, which does not actually confirm that raw data is being received from me as per the latest version (57) of PP.Īt the risk of belabouring the point, is it possible for one of you who oversee the system to please check if I am in fact contributing raw data to PP?Hi Francis I have attempted to set up my SBS3 with PP latest version to provide raw mode s and a/c data along with the ADS B, but I am not entirely clear that this is what is happening, there being several indications which seem to be in disagreement with each other. I have also been following the aircraft list but have yet to see any aircraft entry with my sharer id included in the reception column. I have looked at the message buffer which is off scale and therefore I assume that it is doing well.
I have followed all the instructions in the wiki but I am concerned that most of what I see is downloaded data and that I am not in fact contributing anything. However when I check the data out the buffer is consistently returned as empty. Looking at my current display it does seem to be well populated.
